Multi-talent Natasja Molenaar is the face behind NM. Skilled in both the technical ins and outs of construction and the styling of an interior, she loves taking on large projects in which she turns bare spaces into finished custom-made interiors.

It is Natasja Molenaars passion to work on both the construction side and design side of creating perfect homes. The balance of the technical work involved (detailed drawings, front views, light plans) AND DESIGNING AN INTERIOR (built-in closets, custom-made furniture where necessary, flooring, colors and fabric) is a challenge Natasja loves to tackle.
It starts with a 'discover-your-style' client meeting and it results in a finished interior. Natasja has the stages in between covered too. She is a skilled drafter, a natural designer and she has a substantial amount of renovation/construction experience (her previous apartment in Haarlem for example, or her home in Rotterdam, about which you can read here).
When it all comes together in the finished space Natasja experiences a feeling of pure joy.
A home is like a museum of human emotions that are displayed in the different design choices.
A sleek and clean kitchen has a collection of antique dishes on the wall exuding historic warmth. A cool and crisp bedroom is accessorized with a fragile heart symbolizing love. A wooden bench by the window require sink-in pillows for comfort.
By combining pure and natural materials with meaningful personal items or souvenirs, the subtle contrasts are unexpected yet beautiful and the 'emotions' find their perfect balance. By playing with this balance, challenging it when needed, Natasja turns a house into a happy home.
